I was riding on the freeway..., July 1, 2001
in San Jose when the local college radio station KSJS came on with a sound like they had the whole village down on the beach singing to their godhead. I couldn't stand it. I pulled off the freeway and called the station and asked, "Who is that?" The DJ said "Tulku, from Transcendence." I had her spell Tulku about five times until I was sure I got it right above the freeway din. I purchased the CD several days later and was in tears after the first song. By the time I listened to it all the way thru I was a mess. Here was the highest expression of love I had ever known, and it showed me how lacking in love for my self and others my life had been up until then. I find it hard to play it now, several years hence. Like a flaming sword that faces you at every turn, this album calls forth the best you can offer, and sad to say, more often as not, regret mingles with love's labor lost. If you must have the truth, even at the risk of becoming dissatisfied with your present existence, buy this album. It is a true blessing.

Wonderful, relaxing, just perfect music!!, February 8, 2001
When I first listened to Tulku I felt like I had "come home": I was born and raised in Africa, so I feel cocooned by its sounds. It relaxes me, motivates me.... I am an artist and when I paint, listening to Tulku helps me meditate and at the same time concentrate on what I am doing. What is so great with Tulku is that it can be listened without really paying attention to the music, yet you can feel the pleasure, and if you want to listen to every song, well it just captures your mind and let you evoke distant and imaginery lands, almost like a child would. Awesome work!!

I love this CD!!!, August 16, 2000
By A Customer
I first heard this CD while shopping at the Endangered Species store in Las Vegas and I had to have it! It is an awesome blend of New Age music and tribal influences. Tulku means 'new body/old soul' which perfectly fits this CD - it is so cool, I never get tired of listening to it. The second CD in the series 'Season of Souls' is good, too, but Trancendence is impossible to top.
