About the Author

Olaf Meinhardt has been traveling the world on foot and by bicycle since he was a
teenager. A freelance photographer, he publishes travel photo essays in magazines
and books with a special focus on his favorite topics: Mongolia and South America.
He has recently published Mongolia: Land of Genghis Khan with Bucher. His wife,
Anne has been in love with Russia since her childhood. She has traveled extensively
with her husband, and wrote detailed accounts of their adventures.
