I've been using Prill beads for almost 2 years now and can't imagine drinking water without them. It's amazing how refreshing and satisfying the water is, it just seems to quench and hydrate in a more complete way, it's something that has to be experienced to be believed. Just came on to order more (I put them in the base of my water dispenser and use purified water) and saw the other reviewer, I thought someone should inform them not to use reclaimed city water :P

Prill beads are the newest health food/product scam. I have tried this product and although it was supposed to last two years (according to most who sell it), the water tasted awful after only a couple of weeks and I had to change it again and again. After four weeks the water was very cloudy and it tasted 'tinny'. When I contacted the manufacturer (not this seller) they said wash the beads and re-use them..huh??? so at what point do I know the beads have gone past the point of needing a wash,all the while that I'm drinkin the water?

I have also tested the water for ph content but found that while initially it did raise the ph, the cloudier the water became, the less the ph testing.

It is claimed that Prill beads are an all natural product, but in fact even when they are irregular shaped they have been processed twice. It is not pure magnesium like it is often said.)

Finally, I know at least two people whose cats have gotten seriously ill from drinking this water. My dog loves it though, but then again he doesnt seem too picky when it comes to water....

PLEASE NOTE: My review is in no way intended to reflect on the integrity of this seller, just on the product he is selling. He may very well believe that these work, I tell you they do NOT. Save your $20 for a downpayment on a water ionizer or a reverse osmosis system.
