Galvatron is the ultimate incarnation of the decepticon leader. This toy is a repaint of the transformers energon Megatron. He is one of the coolest molds in the energon line.
His vehicle mode is a futuristic spacecraft. It has an awesome and unique look. The cockpit segment has a bird-like look to it that reminds me of something from Star Trek. Transformation to robot mode is simple, and I don't think it quite deserves the level 4 transformation it has.
The robot mode is awesome. Not counting his head or weapons, there are 12 bending (or rotating) joints. His robot mode has a dynamic look created by the wings mounted on his back.
Now, the difference between him and Megatron is the colors. I personally like Galvatron's better. The silver and purple mix together to create an awsome, powerful looking foe.
If you already have Megatron, you'll have to determine if you like Galvatron's colors well enough to spend another 40 bucks. If you don't have Megatron, Galvatron is an awesome mold, and I recommend him above Megatron.

At first when I saw Megatron I remeber I said that I didnt like the colors. Well with Galvatron his colors rule! Not Only that but the mold is great. I am going to say this is the best transformers Energon figure out there. So go to the store and buy it now!!!!

Hello! I love Galvatron, he is great. Lots of posability and great design. Awesome homage to the G1 incarnation. Best there is!

This is the best repaint that's ever been given to a Transformer, because it is a clear homage to the Generation 1 Galvatron. The only problem is that the figure is expensive and it's difficult to justify buying it if you already paid the same amount for the Energon figure, which is essentially the same figure. In the anime Superlink, (Energon in the US), this is what Galvatron looks like when he becomes a gigantic Transformer in Episode 48.
