I dont unserstand what all the negative coments are from. ITS A REALITY GAME SHOW NOT A SHOW ABOUT UNDERSTANDING TRANS PEOPLE. In the proces we learn to understand and grow attached to both Calpernia as well as Jim and Calies friend amanda. Reality game shows are cheesie dumb cheep and a bit insulting, why would you think this is anything moore then the mindless fun a show like "The Bachlor" is. To insult Calpernia for doing this show or saying "i have no respect for her after watching" just says to me you will not let her be left alone to be the girl she is, not everything about trans people needs to be educational and we all know how hard it is she did nothing wrong with doing this show that countless others do and end up on the cover of people magazine, i say she is a trail blazer, she didnt edit the show so at timnes when they made her look foolish or anoying "the herim challenge" that was the editors not her. Most of these shows start orr bad they have to find there rythem then they milk it till dry; case in point Project runnway, now its gone. For me this is the ultament in exceptance' ha well not the ultamet", but this shows that trans woman can do a show just as tacky and fun as others i wish there was a season 2, i always said Alexis Arquett woud of been a great woman for it but she might be way to hard headed but hell that could be fun to see, but i have to admit it a bit shelfish because i have a huge crush on Alexis. Anyway, not all shows about Trans need to be clinicol or full of drama we all know she had a hardlife give the girl a break and let her have some fun; AGAIN ITS A REALITY SHOW CHEESY SILLY FUN.

This show was so so, Wish the guy's would have been more open to dating a trans girl

If you respect yourself and the Transgender communitty you will not buy this. I still can not belive that a woman such as Calpernia, that has gone through so much in here life (The movie Soilder Girl is based on her)would agree to support or even do something like this. I did not even finish the whole season and have lost almost all respect for Calpernia.
