5.0 out of 5 stars Good Price (I use it in my camera)
I ordered this product on Amazon hoping it would arrive soon. However, the product never arrived (I had waited a few days after the last estimated arrival date). I canceled my order and instead bought it on Newegg at a better price. When it came, I popped it into my camera right away; I use a Rebel xt.

1.0 out of 5 stars Slow memory
I compared the Transcend 133X 2gb compact flash with several other brands using a D100 and D300. The Transcend chip would only move data at 17.2/52.3 mb/s (D100/D300). Slower than a Kingston Elite Pro 50X 2gb(19.4/57 mb/s) and way slower than a Sony 133X 2gb (21.4/103.7 mb/s). The Transcend is offered at a good price considering how slow it is.

I canceled my order and instead bought it on Newegg at a better price. When it came, I popped it into my camera right away; I use a Rebel xt.

I bought it because I needed another CF card with more memory and a faster speed. I don't make too much so I found this to be the best price out there- the price is unbeatable. It's been good to me (had it for about 2 weeks), and I have not regretted my decision one bit.

I use this in a Nikon D70. It has not caused me any trouble yet. I can't tell you if it would work worse on a newer camera, or if this camera could even accept a bigger card, but there is definitely a place and time for a 2GB card.

3.0 out of 5 stars Be careful of this 2GB card, December 22, 2007
This review is from: Transcend 2 GB 133x CompactFlash Memory Card TS2GCF133 (Personal Computers)
I would not recommend this product - after uploading the pics into my website - looked at the results and find some of the pics were blank with horizontal lines across - OK - no problems I said - must be some upload error - check the jpegs on the card and the blank jpegs was there as well - so be careful of this product - their 4GB card works fine which came packaged with my camera kit.

It's getting harder to find the smaller CF cards, this one works in an older camera where larger ones do not.

I picked up 3 for under $30 for my Roland SP-555. They arrived quickly with Free Super Saver, and none of them have given me any trouble in my sampler.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love Transcend memory, November 11, 2011

Amazon requires that reviews be 20 words long so almost all of this is padding to get the review posted. What do I think of the product? Well, let me tell you:

2GB card good speed just works. If you need memory, Transcend is the brand I use and recommend (every size and format I have tried).

Solid and very reliable, fully compatible with my old camera bought 5 years ago. It does all its jobs and I don't see a problem so far, I have nothing but full of praise for this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works with Windows 7 and PCMCIA adapter, April 22, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Transcend 2 GB 133x CompactFlash Memory Card TS2GCF133 (Personal Computers)
I work in the networking field and have to sometimes use CF cards in my laptop for moving files from my PC to a network device or something else that either doesn't support USB or has USB disabled for security. Anyway, I've tried other CF cards that were not properly recognized in my laptop using the PCMCIA adapter. For example, a 4GB card was reading 10MB and a 1GB card was doing the same. This card works great and it reads the full 2GB. I wanted to go with the 4GB card, but I wasn't sure if it would be properly recognized based on what I've read about the PCMCIA being a 16 bit adapter and limited to 2GB of address space. I'd be curious to know if anyone has tried a >2GB card with a PCMCIA adapter.
