I am not a computer geek. Just a regular person who uses the computer for e-mail, pictures and music... Was so easy to transfer my information from the PC to this device for safe keeping. Arrived quickly in the mail even though when I ordered, it was out of stock. Came in a few days. Looked up all the reviews on line before ordering and I have had no problem thus far. Nice product!

This little disk is perfect to back up my MacBook Pro using Time Machine. It is not the fastest HD available, but its small size makes it a winner. It comes with a custom made pouch and the USB powered cable. My MacBook Pro does not need the extra USB power and works great with a single or standard USB cable.

I use it mainly for backups, and I don't know how it will work on a high demand basis or a severe write and erase basis like a photographer or video shooter.

It fits in the $125 dlls or lower range for a 500gb disk so it is not expensive at all.

Maybe after one year of use I can tell more about it.

I've had this unit since 11-22-09 and had no problems.
This portable is easy to install and nice to look at. It needs no batteries since it uses the USB connection to power it (included). Zero noise. Data transfer is fast enough for what I use it for which is music. Transferfering my itunes library which was 5GB took about 20 minutes and no problems with downloading new music since then.
It has one touch sync and a stealth net surfing system also.

The drive works well. It has tested as one of the fastest drives for its size that I own even when compared to fire wire drives.

Works perfectly right out of the box. I don't know it's there until I need it. You can't go wrong with this one.

This is my first external hard drive, and I have no complaints so far. It is extremely small, very easy to use and sync. It also comes with a carrying case.

I was looking for an external drive for my daughter to store her photos and videos on. The Transcend StoreJet fit the bill. It was easy to hook up. Just plug it in to the USB port and it became part of my computer. I've had it for only a view weeks, but the Transcend StoreJet is doing the job.

Neat & Petite. Downloads/Uploads plenty fast.

I used this product and all was well but when i went to put a password on it so nobody but me can access it in case i lost it, it corrupted half my files including all my video files. Customer service was no help. They never got back to me.. i emailed, then called them and never got an answer.

This thing is neat in that it's so tiny and sleek looking. I've been using it just to backup files. So far it has worked as advertised.
