5.0 out of 5 stars Good low capacity CF card
I purchased this to use in an Olympus E20N ( a rather old camera ) to replace a dead IBM Microdrive. According to Olympus the largest CF card that can be used is 320MB ( did anyone ever even make a 320MB other than IBM Microdrive ??? ). I was aghast when I saw the ridiculous prices of the smaller CF cards that most places were asking. I have used this card with no...

3.0 out of 5 stars It totally saved images and let me transfer them to the computer.
This memory card fit my ancient digicam, its so hard to find the smaller cards these days. I could get a bigger one, but I'm not sure what I would do with all that space, what if my files got lost in there? ;-)

I have used this card with no problems in the E20N even though it is larger than Olympus recommends. I highly recommend this card for someone who needs a "small" CF card at a reasonable price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I wanted., October 5, 2009

I have an old digital camera that only takes this size flash card. Fits perfectly and works grand. I love my old camera and did not want to buy a new one. So I shopped on Amazon and found what I wanted. The only sad part was I asked for fast shipping and it took 10 days. I will admit there was a holiday involved, but it still came too late for my vacation.
The product is great, the shipping was BAD!

5.0 out of 5 stars Transcend 500 mb CompactFlash Cards Work Wonderfully and Last, November 24, 2011

We bought a few of these a couple of years ago and were able to save about 75% of the cost that we would have spent at retail stores. We didn't know this brand at the time, but I can tell you that these have lasted several times each and have never failed us. You'll want to be careful when buying this type of product to buy the type of flash drive (here is is a type 1) that your camera can use. Many of the older digital cameras from the early to mid 2000's period cannot use the high density type 4,5, and 6 flash disks that you find on retail shelves. So, if you're like me, you'll find some of the older type 1,2,and 3 media being phased out and hard to get at retail stores. Transcend seems to produce a lot of the type of media people will need for their older and slightly older cameras. Based on my experience, I would also try them for my newer camera.

5.0 out of 5 stars Compatible CF Card for my NEC Mobile Pro 900, October 13, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Transcend TS512MCF80 512MB 80x Type I Compact Flash Card (Personal Computers)
I was having trouble finding CF cards to use with my used NEC Mobile Pro 900. The machine is 10 years old and most modern accessories are not compatible with it. The NEC will only accept a CF type I and it needs to be no more than 8 gigs in size...and I was told even smaller was better. Since I was going to be transferring text files in and out of the machine, a 512mb is ample size to hold my files and I found that this card is compatible with my Pocket PC.

I've been using this CF card for six months and so far I have had no issues. When I use it, I do remember to eject the card from my desktop before removing it and this, I feel, has helped to prevent my files from corruption. I also configured it to FAT 16 before I used it for the first time.

I think you will find that this CF card will work well with whatever older model of device you are using it for and I can recommend it as a well made CF card.

I also have an older digital camera that takes up to this size flash card, and this one works just fine. I say buy one if this is what you are looking for.
