When I received the book I read it in one sitting! I wanted to compliment the author on this book she did an excellent job! I was very touched by the way she opened her own heart to share her story to help others, that was extremely generous & unexpected. I wish I would have had a book like this when I got divorced in 1996 from a 10 yr. relationship, I had to figure it out on my own.
I really thought that after all this time (I spent 5 years single) then got re-married and have been married for 8 years now, I thought I was completely over it however reading this book I realized how much baggage I carried into my marriage and how much I did not deal with. My intention was to educate myself a little more to help my own clients and I ended up receiving the benefit! Thank you Lori! I will go through the book again & work on the exercises one by one until all the demons are gone!

Lori Rubenstein is the real deal. She has the ability to lead people through the painful terrain of divorce to a place stronger and happier than they ever thought possible. Going through divorce is one of the hardest things I have ever experienced. I left a 25 year marriage and was lost. I called Churches all over town looking for some type of divorce recovery group. They laughed at me. I wasn't an addict or hadn't lost someone due to death, although it felt that way. Out of shear desperation, I phoned my attorney and the receptionist told me to contact Lori. Lori happened to previously be a divorce attorney in my same town. I looked at this phone number for a few minutes and figured no one would answer but gave it a try anyway. Guess what? She answered and from that moment on my life changed. I couldn't afford her workbook so I went to the library and photocopied all the pages that I needed to write in. A week later my attorney's office provided me with my own copy. I read the workbook cover to cover but couldn't get myself to write in it, I was afraid of the feelings that were going to come out. I signed up for one of Lori's tele-courses and we were assigned homework. That meant I had to write in it. Lori assured me that once I started writing, I wouldn't want to stop. She was right! This workbook is amazing. I have written so much and there are pages that are tattered from the tears that were shed on them. This workbook changed my life around. I am at a amazing place in my life right now. There are still occasional days of sadness but nothing at all like I used to experience. I can stand tall now and say "I am woman, hear me roar". I highly recommend this workbook and other services that Lori offers through her website. I truly believe, I could not be where I am today without her services, products and her wisdom of the pain we go through during divorce.

This book is life changing for men and women who have been through the pain of divorce. No one is prepared for the pain and shock of divorce. Lori walks you through each stage and helps you to survive and then thrive. I was married for thirty years and was not prepared when my wife walked out. Lori's book put me back together exercise by exercise. Her gift is the packaging of information. Her combination of real life experience, with years of advising others and passion to truly see people be happy is a winner. Get this book, and get your life on track after a divorce.
