I purchased this cable to sync a Pantech Breeze phone, in order to make my own ringtones and load them. Unfortunately, I found out that the Breeze will not sync via USB. It will only do Bluetooth! This is not the fault of the cable itself, which is a good quality cable. I kept it because it wasn't worth the trouble to return it. I can still use the cable to charge the phone.

It would have been good if vendor advised you may need a memory card to transfer data before using this card on cable with you existing phone memory. I will update once I get my memory card and can actually use it.

Does not work for my Pantech, when I plug it into my computer it freezes my computer up. So I have to restart the computer by holding the computer start button.
Good thing it only cost $6.95.

It is extremely hard to use it. IF you are not holding it with your hands it will not have a good contact with the phone and will not send any data.

Pantech's drivers don't work. Pantech's PC suite downloads but will never show the device to be connected. I have the disc that came with the phone but Pantech says it is having problems with Windows vista and windows 7 so unless you're running an old browser, the drivers are useless and all your cord is going to be is a charger.

This was not the right plug for my Cell to PC. But instead of exchanging Item I was told I'd get refund and keep cable. Why?? It don't work 4 me, and of course the right one they don't sell! But Ok.

So I bought this so that I wouldn't have to keep turning off my phone, pulling out my mini-SD and plugging it into my external card reader. Well come to find out, there is NO EXISTING software for the Pantech phones. Totally a waste of $7.

I purchased this data cable so I wouldn't have to take the sd card out of my phone, but since I have yet to find the software/driver for this product; I can not use the data cable the way it is to work. If anyone has knowledge of the downloadable software/driver for this product, please post it to this review. Thank you.

All the reviews are correct. The cable works, but there is no software to do anything with the phone and the p.c. And no, the cord will not recharge the phone from the p.c. and I bought the cable from att, so it is not the brand of cable that matters.

It appears that no one is able to find the necessary software required to use this USB data cable with the Pantech phones. I have a different question... Is it possible to charge the phone using this USB cable? Can someone who bought this answer? Thanks in advance: cejones1 at gmail dot com
