Transferring movies to iPad Hi. Does anyone know how I can transfer dvd's to my iPad to watch while traveling?

Best way is to buy an Android Tablet such as Samsung Galaxy Tab and drag it to the device. No iTunes needed.

If you haven't received an answer yet. Here's what you do. Put DVD in computer and reformat to .mp4. You may need to purchase or download software to do this. Once you have the mp4 format, add the movie to iTunes. Then connect your iPad and sync the movie.
