As the resident amateur writer/reviewer in our house I've taken it upon myself to write this review. It's not that I'm put off by a woman's guide. I got a lot out of Joyce Vedral's book and continue to use it today. But this book primarily deals with something I don't have to deal with in the same way, and my wife has found it as exactly what she was looking for. That's the sensitive subject of weight gain that comes with hormone level changes and that part of life where most time is spent shuttling kids around. Well, the kid is off to college and we would both like another forty years please. This book deals in a straight forward manner with the issues of women's fitness and diet after forty, and the effects of not only age but a sedentary life.
