5.0 out of 5 stars Wisdom from the least likely of places, March 13, 2003
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Transformation of a Common Man: The Brian Scott Story (The Play of Life) (Paperback)
I have to admit expecting NOT to finish this book. It's such an oddity, unpredictably moving from the mundane to the profound. I kept waiting for the, "we will save you" promise from the alleged extraterrestrials, or for the, "Brian Scott is our only hope" admonition. I kept waiting for the usual cliches, or the little inconsistencies and contradictions that would place this book next the works of "the literature's" shucksters and fantasists.

But it never happened. Over 700 pages later, I finished the book and found myself inspired and awed. It's hard to describe why.

The story is somehow real and mundane, despite the fact much of the book is utterly incredible. It's not a very well polished book. There is no glossy coating, everything is there in all its coarse detail, from bitter domestic disputes to failing friendships, love affairs, etc. But the story is riveting and frequently moving and frightening. It delves into dangerous territory (e.g., aliens and demonic possession) without preaching one explanation or another.

And when it's all over, what's the bottom line? There is no easy way out. To grow in wisdom, we each have our own work to do. Brian Scott's story shows that we need balance. We have to live in the world and yet grow in spirit. These two, united, allow us to realize our greatest potential. Everything we need is right here, with us now.

In Brian's case, he had some extraordinary guides and was privy to amazing insight and revelations. But it all boils down, ultimately, to you and I. We can travel the dark road of stagnation and fear, or strive for growth and transformation. Brian made his choice, and life continues. We, too, have our choice. Let this book guide and inspire you to choose the right path.

I will never forget this book. It still lingers in my heart and mind, and will likely remain there.

4.0 out of 5 stars flawed, but important, February 7, 2003
By
Art (CA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Transformation of a Common Man: The Brian Scott Story (The Play of Life) (Paperback)
This is an important book. I found the story to be compelling and particularly relevant to our immediate future. The story is written as a chronology of UFO contacts from the experiential point-of-view of the abductee. The thrust of the book is to bring attention to the purpose of the alien contacts, not to simply chronicle the UFO contacts themselves. I would have preferred this biographical story to have been written with more documentation, but probably no amount of supporting evidence would have swayed skeptics. Despite the lack of thorough references, the events of this story had a 'ring of truth' for me. As such, I am recommending this book as an important piece of the puzzle in the quest for understanding the history and future of the consciousness of man. This book can expand your horizons.

If you doubt the existence of UFOs, I suggest you visit ... Dr. Greer['s website it] has collected testimonies from hundreds of credible witnesses in an effort to force the military to reveal their interactions with aliens. Enjoy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Transformation of a Common Man rocks!!!, February 17, 2003
By

This review is from: Transformation of a Common Man: The Brian Scott Story (The Play of Life) (Paperback)
This is one of the most eye-opening books I have ever read! Jim you did an outstanding job of bringing Brian's story to the public. Very interesting diagrams that Brian has drawn found within the pages, especially the Photonic Matter drawing superimposed on the Cuzco time clock, found on page 537.

Fascinating the Quantum Displacement passages staring on page 350..."The displacement of time, by the mind at nous 4, allowing matter and energy to be transported through space."

quote:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From the Earth, the water and the people, I am.
From the Island of the Sun, I have come, and I wish to return.

I am Viracocha--I have knowledge of the People from my existence here, and within.

My promise shall be kept--I shall comply to the people, within.

With the first light of the sun, on the day of December 22, 2011 A.D., and from the Island of the Sun, I shall return.

I am Ticci Viracocha, from the People.

I am the spirit of the People, and of the Earth.

I am from the Earth--

Viracocha.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Nous Laos Hikano"--The God-Mind Returns to the People, indeed.

Thank you Brian for finally getting this message to the common people. You are a remarkable man in every way. You have literally changed my life, opened my eyes, and set me on an inevitable path.

I have turned over my rock and like what I see. A small, good thing, yes?

Peace and love Brian.

From a future hill walker.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nothing less than the explanation of human civilization, February 10, 2003
By
Gerald M. Zeitlin (Sedona, Arizona United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Transformation of a Common Man: The Brian Scott Story (The Play of Life) (Paperback)
This book delivers far more than one might expect. Looking like just another case study of alien abduction, from the very first page TRANSFORMATION is in a class by itself. Through the eyes of a young incorrigible who just wants to be left alone, and the family members and investigators who are drawn into a series of incredible events, the reader learns of a titanic struggle between extraterrestrial societies who have long been manipulating human civilization, their conflicting assessments of human capabilities and the race's right to survive a coming cataclysm. "The Play of Life" consists of Brian's challenges. The outcome is vitally important for all of us. THIS BOOK IS NOT A WORK OF FICTION. It has created an uproar among radio astronomers, and its characters were invited to the Carter White House to make their case. Everything is documented with photographs, recordings, magnetic field data, diagrams, formulas, police records, and news clippings. You just have to read this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Free will and courage in transformation, July 6, 2009
By
Krsanna Duran (Missoula, Montana United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Transformation of a Common Man: The Brian Scott Story (The Play of Life) (Paperback)
The Brian Scott UFO contact case reported in "Transformation Of A Common Man" is one of the most extensive UFO accounts and reports available, thanks to meticulous documentation by Jim Frazier. Tracing the critical path of free will and courage in Brian Scott's choices, Frazier documents the fine details of transformation and the nature of time, one of the important themes in UFO contacts. As well as dealing with the effects of transformation with the persons closest to Brian Scott, Frazier brings out the moral and cultural quandaries of the extraterrestrials in this contact. I highly recommend this book as vitally important for those who have experienced UFO contact, those people close to UFO experiencers, and anyone curious about what really happens in a UFO experience.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not just some entertaining story!, January 29, 2006
This review is from: Transformation of a Common Man: The Brian Scott Story (The Play of Life) (Paperback)
"Transformation of a common Man" is not just some story/book you read for mere entertainment.

We all play an intergel part of the great plan to

uplift the whole of mankind.

So much has been hidden from us by those dark forces; both

alien & human desiring to keep complete control of

the masses in the form of "The Mind of Man"; Religion

is one of the very effective tools these entities use

against man. Voltar tells us that God has given us "Free

Will" and we all instinctively feel this within our

very being. We're all created with a "Choice"

built in to our very existence (within our souls)at a

far deeper level then our physical DNA structure.

We are true perfection.

Voltar, through Brian Scott, Jim Frazier and others in The Play

of Life(these same positive entities), have given

mankind hope in these dark times. Voltar has proven to

us that no amount of mind/DNA/time distortion/advanced

manipulation by these dark forces will ever control

who we really are(our true spiritual essence). The

Play of Life continues. Mankind needs only open it's

spiritual as well as physical eyes and really see and

feel through our hearts and not through our limiting

intellect.

Dec 2011 is not only just ahead; it's in fact happening right now within the universe, our solar system, our planet earth and

our human physical/non-physical bodies. Most of us are walking around in a dream that we mistake for reality and our wake up call is just around the corner. "Transformation of a Common Man" offer's hope to mankind in it's simple message of love in an uncertain world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Book. Great Story!, February 18, 2003

Jim Bachurski (Chalfont, PA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Transformation of a Common Man: The Brian Scott Story (The Play of Life) (Paperback)
This is one of the best books I have ever read. It is a non-stop rollercoaster ride. This is the tip of the biggest Icebergs ever seen. It starts out slow but picks up speed like no book I have ever read. I know Brian Scott personally and he is the most honest man I have ever met. He is very down to Earth these days. He is very open to talk to about all of the things that have happened to him. The story has not ended yet. We are going to South America this spring this June to retrace Brian's steps of his Transformation. I highly recommend reading this book then send me an e-mail and then let's talk.
With All the Respect: Jim: Bachurski

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful in its own way, November 12, 2011
This review is from: Transformation of a Common Man: The Brian Scott Story (The Play of Life) (Paperback)
I enjoyed this book immensely, the story is truly amazing and what excited me the most was that my intuition told me the story was being told honestly. Soon after reading this book I too began to experience paranormal events in my own life, I can't be certain, but I feel it's partly due to the fact that I read this book with an open heart and mind.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally, the answer, October 17, 2009

This review is from: Transformation of a Common Man: The Brian Scott Story (The Play of Life) (Paperback)
I began the book thinking it would be a good read that would take me away from the daily routine. I was right. I approached to book as the author did, with scepticism and like the author, by the end of the story, I knew I had to read it again, this time to really understand the experience and to value the authenticity of it. Now the only books I read daily is this book and the Bible, which has quite a few alien references. Read and believe.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best UFO Contactee Story, August 28, 2009
This review is from: Transformation of a Common Man: The Brian Scott Story (The Play of Life) (Paperback)
THIS IS A VERY WELL WRITTEN UFO STORY. I STUDIED THE BOOK SEVERAL TIMES TO TRY TO UNDERSTAND EACH AND EVERY DETAIL AS BEST AS I COULD. IT IS A SIMPLE HUMAN DRAMA STORY, WITH MANY TWISTS AND TURNS DESCRIBING THE DAILY STRUGGLE OF A COMMON MAN AND THOSE AROUND HIM TRYING TO COME TO TERMS WITH THE MOST OTHERWORLDY EVENTS THAT ANY HUMAN BEING COULD POSSIBLY BE MET WITH. THE FIRST HALF OF THE BOOK IS ABOUT A COMMON MAN'S STRUGGLE TO FIND OUT WHAT IS REALLY HAPPENING TO HIM. WHAT DO THESE STRANGE EVENTS MEAN ? WHO ARE ALL OF THESE OTHERWORLDY BEINGS THAT ARE INTERFERRING IN THIS MAN'S LIFE ? WHAT DO THEY WANT ? HOW TO FIND SOME HELP TO EXPLAIN THESE OTHERWORLDLY EVENTS ? ARE THEY DEMONS ? ARE THEY ALIENS FROM OUTERSPACE ? HOW CAN I GET THEM TO LET ME ALONE ? ARE THEY TELLING ME THE TRUTH, OR ARE THEY LIEING TO ME ? SHOULD I DO WHAT THEY ASK ME TO DO ? DARE I COOPERATE WITH THEM ? HOW CAN I GET SOMEBODY TO BELIEVE ME ? WHERE CAN I GET SOME HELP ? THE SECOND HALF OF THE BOOK IS ABOUT BRIAN'S COOPERATION WITH THE SPACE ALIENS AND TAKING THEM AT FACE VALUE. OK, HE SAYS, I BELIEVE YOU GUYS, AND I'LL DO MY BEST TO COOPERATE WITH YOU AND SEE WHERE ALL OF THIS LEADS. JIM FRAZIER REALLY HANDLES THE DETAILS VERY WELL. THE BREAKUP OF FAMILIES, RELATIONSHIPS, HOW DO REGULAR COMMON PEOPLE DEAL WITH THE STRESSES OF SPACE ALIENS INTERFERRING IN PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS ? THE STORY IS HIGHLY EMOTIONAL AND AT THE SAME TIME HIGHLY SPECIFIC IN SCIENTIFIC DETAILS CONCERNING HUMANITIES HIDDEN PAST AND PRESENT AND FUTURE DEALINGS WITH THESE ALIENS. AND IT DOESN'T STOP THERE. WE FIND MORE THAN ONE RACE OF SPACE ALIENS INTERFERRING WITH HUMANITY. ONE RACE ONLY WANTS THE BEST FOR US. BUT THE OTHER RACE IS TRULY SATANIC. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS EXCELLENTLY WRITTEN BOOK. IT IS TIMELY TOO. WHAT IS TO HAPPEN IN 2012 ? CAN WE BELIEVE THESE SPACE ALIENS ? DARE WE NOT BELIEVE THEM ?
