Read the product description and look at the picture. It's all there.
Also, the fact that it transforms into a a robot animal means that it's harder to lose in the home office clutter. :)
Now that I have it in front of me, I do notice that the mouth opens too wide. At some point in the very near future, I'm going to wind up gluing something under the neck to prevent the mouth from opening all the way so that it doesn't look like his jaw is dislocated.
The mechanism to extend and retract the USB port locks itself too securely in retracted mode. You really have to push to get it to slide out. Worse yet: it DOESN'T lock itself securely enough to keep the USB port extended. You will sometimes have to manually hold the extending switch in place with your finger to get it to plug into your computer.
Because this is a Transformer, it is significantly wider than a standard USB drive. You will not be able to use this drive beside another USB device unless the ports are a greater-than-standard distance from each other.
One last complaint for everyone in the 30+ age bracket: This product is made of plastic! The transformers we grew up with were made out of metals and were much more sturdy. Am I age-ranting? yup!
Don't buy this if you are going to use it heavily. It's too bulky, too fragile, and the USB mechanism isn't engineered well enough.
DO BUY it if you plan on using this only occasionally. Buy it even if you aren't a Transformer fan! :D
But as USB its a bit slow: 2mb/s. And you have to get use to how to pull out USB head from transformers body. At first it looks a bit complicated:)
So generally, really great but not fast USB.
It has two immediate downsides, and one possible downside: first, in my case, total available storage space comes to 15.4 GB, rather than 16... there might be a good reason for this, but I'm not computer-literate enough to say. It seems odd to one of my generation that you can casually misplace 600 MB of storage space.
Second, and less importantly, it is largish for a flash drive. Which is understandable given that it is modeled on a transforming toy. But keep that in mind when ordering: if you're looking for a really compact drive for business and/or travel, or if you really like cramming flash drives into as many ports on your computer as is physically possible, this may not be a drive for you.
In terms of durability, the parts range from small to very small. I have doubts about long-term durability, at least for the transforming toy part of the drive. Keep out of reach of animals and small children! But so far, so good: I have no children, my cats show no interest in plastic, and it's holding together quite well. So, no real, immediate complaints on that from my POV.
So, four stars for the initial good impressions, -1 for the memory issue and portability. But for my purposes of occasional, casual flash drive usage, I'm quite satisfied. I'd buy one for a friend, or if I really needed, a second one for myself.
This item really looks cool, and since my daughter's middle school class team is the "panthers", she thought this would be an appropriate USB drive to have (USB drives are required for middle school these days? Man, I feel old!).
We received it promptly, and it comes in a nice little acrylic magnetic-clasp case. It looks and transforms as it does in the item's description and picture.
After "transforming" the device twice, within an hour of opening the package, the metal pin holding the tail in place fell out. We tried re-inserting it several times, but it kept falling out. The pin is so small that it actually disappeared into our carpet, yet to be found again.
The legs, when folded in to the rectangular USB drive configuration, seem floppy and unsecured.
The USB interface retracts into the unit via a slider. The slider is very stiff and difficult to extend/retract.
If you want this device for novelty purposes, to perhaps put on a shelf for display, this could be a decent buy. If you want to actually use it or carry it around regularly, don't bother -- it will likely fall apart in short order.

Had to have this because I am a Transformers fan. Quality was a little weak and the tail broke off after only a few days.Published 2 months ago by Casey Florig
Packaged Properly and shipped promptly. Battletech is a staple of science fiction. Between the technology, walking arsenals, and political fights it's a good read. Read morePublished 4 months ago by Michael Rovinski
This turned out to be a fake USB drive. I used h2testw to test it. It would only store 400MB reliably when it claims to be 16GB. This was a waste of time. Read morePublished 5 months ago by Shilpa Jog

Worked great until a leg came off when just trying to transform him. Cheaply made, bootleg, can't guarantee hardware will last. Has shown signs of being flaky.Published 7 months ago by Moonswift
