Mudflap is cute, durable, but Skidz makes for an easier transformation and more posable stance,

I was wondering why poor Mudflap was in stores more than his brother Skidz - got Mudflap on sale at Walmart for cheap, bless his heart...anyway, when I got the lil Autobot home, transformed him, and tossed the directions (the pictures never help, ever). Anyway, he looks like the picture, but because the twins are so top heavy (their backs), Mudflap tends to fall over when you stand him up. And because he transforms differently than Skidz, he's not as sturdy. But I want them both together, so he ended up sitting down, while Skidz is standing up lol. It's no biggie, love the Autobots, and love Mudflap too. All and all, if you're getting it for your little one, and he doesn't mind it not standing too much, it's fine. But if you're a collector, you better get him just right when he's standing, otherwhise he'll topple over!

I just got this toy i love it I think it is a great toy for kids. I was able to do this transformation very easily. Me and my brother play with our transformers he gets decepticon and I get autobot. I would recomend Transformers Movie 2 Deluxe Mudflap to anyone who likes a challenge.

Worst Toy I've Ever Purchased,

I was really excited to purchase Transformer toys for my five-year-old son and relive my childhood again. Boy was I disappointed. Actually, disappointed is a HUGE understatement. I was furious. Hasbro has truly gone down hill by cutting costs to increase profit margins and essentially made a really, really bad product. The older Transformer toys from my childhood were durable and were at least 60% metal (some were even 100% -except for the wheels). The only metal on the new ones are the screws that BARELY hold the pieces together. What Hasbro has apparently done is made the pieces easily "pop-off-able" for lack of a better term. Meaning, in order to avoid customers breaking the toy while trying to transform the untransformable, Hasbro redesigned all the pieces on the Transformers to use a circular knob at the end to allow the pieces to rotate in all directions and easily "pop off" if bent to far to avoid breakage. This was a lot cheaper than manufacturing toys made of solid metal that would not break if you tried to transform the robot incorrectly. Using metal also made the toys easier to transform because you were pretty much prevented from turning the pieces too far in the wrong direction.
I cannot tell you how much I HATE the new Transformer product line. I am a VERY technical person. I am a software developer and I also do home improvement. If it took me an hour to finally transform 2 of these things then there's NO way my five-year-old would have EVER been able to do it. SHAME ON YOU HASBRO!!!
