5.0 out of 5 stars Jolt is truelly a cool figure!
When I first saw pictures of Jolt, I thought his head sculpt looked horrible. When I saw how little he was in the movie, I was convinced I wasn't going to get him. I saw a few video reviews, however, and decided to check him out. I am so glad that I did. His robot mode is so well done. The head still isn't the best, but looks alot better in person. 3.0 out of 5 stars "Here's a story of a Chevy Volt named Jolt..."
Jolt was in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, you might have seen him if you didn't blink. Jolt adds a nice cobalt blueness to the Autobot lineup. Jolt's blue plastic is semi-pearlescent with translucent blue windows, although he lacks much in the way of paint applications.

His panels can really be positioned however you want. I recommend the bumpers folded out, the back panels with the thin part up and almost flush with the back. His feet allow a TREMEDOUS amount of posability. Croutching, kneeling, leaning, standing, it's all possible. The blue of the car the the "Allspark" Blue all seem to fit very well together. His elctro whips are a little stubby, but they are cool for action poses. A warning, they have little sharp edges. Nothing too bad, though. His chest mold looks very cool done in the translucent blue, and the Mech alive featured in it is very nice. Waist rotates, and his arms and back can move around alot(his back due to transformation, you can actually make him look hunched over). His transformation is very fun and easy. Every piece seems to just go into place and fold out. His vehicle mode looks good. A bit of a dumpy looking car, but still nice. I would very highly recommend Jolt, and hope that he gets a bigger role in the next movie(or even some extra scenes on the ROTF DVD).

Like the previous reviewer.. I wasnt sure about getting Jolt...but after reading some reviews and seeing other pictures I went ahead and bought him. I am glad I did. This could easily become one of my favorites. I am an old school G1 fan and have always loved Jazz. But Jolt is just very pleasing to the eye..almost captivating. Very easy to get into robot mode and is extremely stable when standing. I am truly hoping the develop this characters personality in the next movie. From the back card on the box, could make for a fun addition.
I recommend getting Jolt..you will not be disappointed

5.0 out of 5 stars ravage 24/7, October 28, 2011

Jolt is one great autobot hero!Jolt looks as realistic as any deluxe version out there with a sleek design in chevy volt mode and one sweet robot mode.Jolt is one of the best quality deluxe transformers you will find with awesome features. The chevy volt mode has no clutter underneath and is a smooth ride while robot mode has great articulation in the legs, arms, body, and one of the best head pieces around.Jolt comes with electro-whips that flip out for use when he needs to electrify a decepticon into oblivion. The poseability on Jolt is outstanding with great stability for creating battle poses or displaying this gem where you please. The durability is excellent as well with secure joints and a solid build in either robot or chevy volt mode. The transformation level on Jolt is intermediate meaning if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is a mid-level difficulty. If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger you might have to help some with the process.Jolt does have a very versatile transformation for all ages with practice.Start with the headlight sections rotating outwards while the hood flips forward. The roof then rotates out splitting into two sections and is then rotated around. The roof pieces then rotate down to rest on the back while the arms are formed at the side. The head piece is now clearly shown as is the upper torso. The back section then seperates in two to form the legs and feet. The back pieces with the rear windows end up where the knees would be as the rear wheels rotate out and down. The bumper pieces then rotate upwards to form the front of the feet with the wheel in the middle while there is a peg at the back of the foot.Jolt is now ready to fry up some decepticons for meal time.I own the Dark of the Moon version as well and can say both of these versions are very sweet.Bottom line Jolt is a well-made,high quality,10 out of 10 transformer all fans will enjoy.I highly recommend Jolt to all transformer fans and collectors out there.Jolt Rocks and Transformers Rule!!!

The Transformers deluxe jolt toy is one of the best out there. It is easy to transformer and doesn't come appart as easily as most other transformers. It has awesome articulation and can strike some mean posess. It's alternate(car) mode looks nice and has no excess transformer parts hanging off or below. If you are looking for a good toy to get for christmas, or birthdays, I would consider buying this toy!

3.0 out of 5 stars "Here's a story of a Chevy Volt named Jolt...", February 20, 2011

Jolt's transformation is simple enough even for smaller kids. His robot mode features a great head sculpt, unfortunately the light piping for his eyes is blocked by a gray piece behind his head. His mech alive gimmick is a set of gears in his chest that turn when you twist his waist but the translucent plastic covering his chest obscures it slightly, and his electro-whips flip out easy but I wish they had made his hands able to grasp.

Jolt is a nice blue little car robot. If his robot mode doesn't aesthetically appeal to you, your not a huge fan of the Chevy Volt, or have a child begging for him, you could easily pass him by for a better toy mold. Even though he's not the flashiest or coolest Transformer he does have a bit of charm, and there are certainly many worse out there. Jolt was later released as "Electrostatic Jolt" Which is the exact same toy mold only with some gold plastic instead of silver in the limb parts and an electricity detailing in white paint in vehicle mold. I'd pick the version you'd prefer and only buy one. He originally retailed for 10-15, I'd grab him closer to 10 or under. He might have had the energy the revive Optimus Prime but not enough to get himself a great toy.

And remember parents: If you don't like challenging your children, BUY AGE APPROPRIATE.

I ordered 3 Transformers all together. They were smaller than I expected, but I probably missed the size in the description.
