Bumblebee Rocks! This version is a very solid figure overall with some extra detail on the camaro mode.Bumblebee has racing stripes on the doors with a cool looking global nest alliance symbol on the doors. The detail in both modes is outstanding with great realism for the camaro while having realistic detailing on the body, arms and legs of Bumblebee in robot mode.In robot mode Bumblebee has his plasma cannon on one arm with a firing projectile while having a regular hand on the other side. The poseability of Bumblebee is awesome with very good stability for many poses for acting out battle scenes or displaying this gem where you please. The durability is excellent all around with Bumblebee being able to handle many different situations. The transformation level is intermediate meaning if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is mid-level difficulty. If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger you might have to help out some in the process.Bumblebee can be a little challenging at first for the younger ages, but with some patience and practice most ages should be able to get the hang of it.Bumblebee is an all around great transformer all fans will enjoy.Bottom line Alliance Bumblebee is a high quality,well-made,10 out of 10 transformer all fans and collectors should treasure.I highly recommend Bumblebee to all transformer fans and collectors alike.Transformers Rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 4-year-old grandson is very mechanically-inclined and since the recommended age for this autobot was 5 and up, I figured he'd have no problem with it. Well, I was wrong. He did pretty well considering the difficulty level, but the recommended age should probably be more like 7-8 years and up.
There's a lot of small parts that have to be turned just so and in just the right order. It took a few minutes to open it up into Bumblebee; it took me nearly ten minutes to get it back to a car. Completing the car transformation requires the whole thing to be cradled in both hands and squeezed together so that certain pieces will snap into place properly. No way are small hands going to be able to do that, especially with multiple pieces constantly shifting around. (My grandson could only stand back and watch, pretty much defeating the purpose of buying him a transformer toy.) The instructions are worthless; it's all trial and error. It doesn't seems very durable, either. I had to take care not to twist a piece too much in the wrong direction for fear of breaking it off. Bumblee's head tucks up into the car's undercarriage, but it only snaps onto a ball joint and keeps falling out. This is a small toy with small parts and a complicated process - definitely better suited for older kids. It probably won't hold up well, which may be okay for $15. If not, I'd suggest buying something else.

Got this to go with the bumblebee helmet. Everyone, including adults, had a go at it. It was quite a challenge. The little boy, who it was for, finally got to try it after all the adults. A was a lot of fun.
