4.0 out of 5 stars Kid Friendly Madman
Let's start by saying this, if you buy this toy it's because you have other transformers toys. Period. It's really just kinda fun to have. Now personally I like the G1 classics version of Ramjet much better. Mainly because this one has little posability and articulation. But, with that said, there are fewer parts that might come loose and pop on off. It's a fast action...

1.0 out of 5 stars Transformers are junk
We have several Transformers in my house. Of them, this particular one, Ramjet, is the only one that hasn't been thrown in the trash. My biggest complaint with these toys is that parts have to removed or fall off while converting from robot to vehicle. This is very frustrating for my son who ends up in a crying fit because he can't work his toys right. It says 4+ on...

It's a fast action battler, so don't expect it to be Voyager-Class level, but if you don't have Ramjet in your collection and want something simple to represent him, this movie incarnation isn't bad. As a fast action battler it's actually quite durable and really requires some effort to damage. It's not going to teach you anything at all, because... well it's a Transformers toy. They are what they are. It's great for young children, and if you need extras for your increasingly popular Transformers Stop-Motion, well he fills out a roster.
Claw Slash Ramjet is a relatively fun toy, so I give him a 4 there. Not a lot of features, but they at least work.
Educational value is a 1. There's only one type of transformer easier than this to transform, and those are the ones where you just press the button and they POP UP (Hate those toys).
Durability is an easy 5, just because there's nothing to break off. If you manage to break it, you've dropped it multiple times in a senseless manner or thrown it in an equally senseless way. Point is you have to try to break him.
Overall, Ramjet is a cute little transformer toy that does exactly as expected and doesn't promise something he won't deliver on. Not a must have, but if you buy him you'll just get what you've paid for, which is all this toy is. Over all Ramjet is a four out of five.

My biggest complaint with these toys is that parts have to removed or fall off while converting from robot to vehicle. This is very frustrating for my son who ends up in a crying fit because he can't work his toys right. It says 4+ on the package so they shouldn't be that difficult. Ramjet is the only one we've tried that doesn't come off in pieces to be converted. Also, any parent knows that toy parts soon become lost parts, hence the trash.
