Joints were a bit loose, but fixed up with a dab of superglue in the socket joint. Very accurate to the show, however the arm 'prongs' seen in the TV show are replaced with a black manipulator thingies. Cool posability, show accurate and also has a very cool extra - has a socket to connect Lockdown's EMP Blaster thingie onto his arm, interchangeable weapons! Great gimmick! Looking forward to the upcoming release of Cybertronian Mode Ratchet!

I'm very pleased I finally got a Ratchet figure,having held off on the movie version.He looks like he does in the cartoon,and has a well executed ambulance mode.The transformation is interesting,and the robot mode is cool.Now he does have a few loose joints,but Super Glue quickly repairs the repair bot.In robot mode he has four tools,a hammer,a screwdriver,a wrench,and a thing that mightly resembles a can opener (poor robot that gets repaired with that thing).He retains his G1 colors,and somehow just has that look of a war veteran.The coolest thing about him though,is if you have Animated Lockdown,you can switch Lockdown's EMP generator and fit it on to Ratchet just like in the show.I'm really liking this guy,for his looks,and his posability.Buy him.You'll love him.

Autobot Ratchet is a crotchety old medic from the Great War. The toy does this mech justice! he comes with four tools a hammer, wrench screwdriver and...canopener(?!) that when in robot mode can be placed in his 'backpack'. In vehicle mode these weapons/tools can't be placed anywhere on him so it's a little difficult to have in that mode if you have pets.

overall, Ratchet is a fun and flexible toy, and a great buy!
