5.0 out of 5 stars Minicons......GOTTA CATCH THEM ALL!!!, September 23, 2002
By A Customer
= Durability:2.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Transformers Armada Air Defence Minicon Team - Jetstorm / Runway / Sonar (Toy)
Its a sad day in Transformers history when it can be compared to Pokemon. Well lets try and push that thought behind and get to the toys. Of the 3 sets of minicons released this has got to be the coolest set of minicons out there. If you remember the days of the Headmasters than you will remember that those guys did not have alot of articulation and you wouldnt expect it from the size of those toys. But not only do these toys have better posability, they can all combine!! Thats right not only can they change from aircrafts to robots, they can change into a sword called StarSaber. And if you have Scourge you can have him hold the StarSaber. The only problem with these 3 guys is that its not very durable. Parts can fall off so I do not recommend giving these to small children...and in my case a kid that refuse to grow up...because you put some pressure on them and you can snap some parts off and because they are so small you can have trouble finding them again. But if you do snap them off you can easily put them it back together granted you didnt break it.
Overall I would give it a B but I would not recommend it for small children. Would have gotten an A if it the parts were a little bit more durable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Air defense mini-cons, February 6, 2003
A Kid's Review
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Transformers Armada Air Defence Minicon Team - Jetstorm / Runway / Sonar (Toy)
I think the air defense team is great! My favorite is Jetstorm. The weird thing on the show is that these mini-cons did the opposite of the race team; they wouldn't activate until later, even if another transformer took the panel. The toys are very good; they don't come apart much and even if they do, they are easy to put back together. I like putting them together to form the star saber. Sonar is the handle, Runway is the middle of the blade and Jetstorm is the top part. Jetstorm is the easist to transform into the star saber mode. Even when the mini-cons are separate, they're still really cool. I gave it a 5 for fun, a 4 for education (because it helps you practice dexterity) and 4 for durability.

4.0 out of 5 stars Air Defence Mini-Con Team, September 29, 2002

I thought this toy was great because it came with 3 minicons and they could all transform into the star saber sword that could be held by the regular transformer figure. However the pieces can come of easily if you but to much force on a part and when they become the sword the bottom part Sonar can't hold on to the other parts that well.
