This Transformer arrives as a building set in 39 Lego-like pieces and requires kids to construct it into its designated character. An instruction book features detailed three-dimensional building diagrams that are easy for even younger builders to follow. In typical Transformer fashion, Jetfire has two possible modes: robot mode, where he is a heroic Autobot leader and vehicle mode, where Jetfire becomes an advanced spacecraft designed after earth's Space Shuttle. In vehicle mode, the set also builds a Comettor Mini-Con figure to man the spacecraft. There are eight Transformers Armada themed building sets in all and kids can collect them to create an entire fleet. These BTR Transformer toys are no longer made and very hard to find. My son (who's almost 4) loves his Legos and Transformers so this is really perfect for him. He can't put it down for a second. They fall apart very easily and he gets frustrated, but besides that this is a fun toy for him to play with!
