My son (an only child) loves this toy. He has been playing with it daily. We just picked up Leobreaker who can become Optimus Prime's arm in savage claw mode. This toy is hours of fun for a fan of Transformers.

This toy is awsome.I judge toys on the pose abilty.This toy has got great pose abilty. I love optimus primes back pack. it makes him look so strong als the 3 transformation abilty is cool to im not for lights and sounds. If your a collector of transformers or like to play with them this is your toy.The only down side is that the matrix of leadership optimus cant hold it.If your gonna start collecting transformers cybertron toys than start with this one

Pros: good color scheme; good articulation; heavy weaponry; fresh design; five transportation modes

Pros or Cons: simple transformation; super robot mode still is not as tall as Megatron

Cons: difficult to stand up with guns folded behind back

Ever since Transformers started moving away from the original time line, I have seen one horrible excuse for the Autobot leader after another.

R.I.D. gave us a Prime who's look was downgraded so he could join up with Ultra Magnus, and as many people found out the tires were faulty.

Armada gave us a bulky looking prime that when combined with his trailer look less like prime than some of the Beast Wars Primal's.

And finally, Energon gave us the Power Ranger Prime that just looked goofy.

I was expecting more of the same from this Prime, but when I started finding images of Cybertron's figures, i was quite surprised and was looking forward to seeing this figure. When it finally arrived at my TRU, I found myself buying one without hesitation. Yes the basic robot form could be better, but in Super mode with the jaw visor up he looks likes he deserves to be called Prime, I have mine displayed right next to my 20th aniversary Prime and they look great back-to-back.

Easily a great addition to my Transformer collection.

this figure is a tru masterpeice.This optimus prime figure has excellent poseability and detail.he has many nice features including a supermode,jet mode and even an opening chest cavity for his removeable matrix !his key activates folding out rocket launchers,and an opening super cannon.Definatley worth the money

This prime has an easy transformation.Also,a great super robot mode and he looks exactly the same as on the show.You MUST get this toy!!!

I think this Prime is the best yet. I have Leobreaker and I can combine them for Savage Claw mode. I am waiting for the price to go down a bit. I think $40 is a bit much. I recommend this toy all the way.

I've always loved Optimus, and being a semi-truck is what he is the best as, not that fire truck. But something they just haven't gotten right since Power Master Prime is how to combine him with his trailer without having to deal with too many detachable pieces. Armada wasn't bad, better hope your batteries didn't die.
The instruction sheet is a little unclear about how to reconnect the trailer to the cab in semi form, you kind of have to guess it yourself to get it right. Other than that, this is a very good addition to the Optimus ancestry.

This version of Optimus Prime is highly detailed and very posable. I thought it was going to be smaller, boy was I surprised. Those huge cannons and the wings make this version of Optimus Prime well worth the money. The paint apps are also right on target. I just can't wait for the arm attachment figures and the Sonic Bomber wing/armor upgrade for this to get issued. All in all this figure was A worthy addition to my collection. Optimus finally gets a superior robot and truck mold, only second to Super Fire Convoy, and when posed corectly, he looks magnificent. GET THIS TOY!!!!

The Cybertron Optimus Prime is the best Prime to come out from the cartoons. After Armada and even after Energon, this prime is the BEST!

The truck mode is great because of all the details and weapons he has. You can even swing the sides of the truck open to change him into a flying ship! With two mega sized cannons on top to "battle the Decepticons" from the air!

His robot mode is my favorite. With wide shoulders and great articulation, he definately looks like a leader. The colors look so good on this Prime, and his chest even opens up to reveal the Matrix of leadership! Great stuff!

And once you put on his "back pack" the firepower he has is incredible. Add the Ignition Key to open missles and laser lights and sounds.

Great figure! The best Prime yet!
