I love collecting mini-cons and mini-con teams. These little guys are a throwback to their beloved predecessors of the 1980s. You can buy them in packs of three and when I see the price drop below 9 bucks (I think I paid $5.00 here), I snatch them up! I'm not as good with remembering all the names as I was back in the mid 80's (probably because Hasbro keeps recycling the names, which I hate), but just the sheer amount and variety that you can amass in a short time is fun for anyone with a collector's spirit!

My 7 yr old loves to play with transformers, and for some reason, especially these mini ones. He can take them with him wherever we go, and keeps him entertained. Some of the pieces come apart - and I do not think they are supposed to. We have been able to put them back on (well - his 12 yr old brother figured that out) and he continues to play with them. He waned more of them for his birthday - always a good sign that he likes something.
