This Deluxe Cybertronian Megatron brings two words to mind,Kick-Ass!!!!!!!!!!!It is like they took the G1 version and gave it an updated more bad-ass version.The details and color scheme of the figure is awesome.Megatron is very sturdy and durable.The transformation is not too difficult and the figure overall is very well made.I am a huge Megatron fan and this is one of my favorite figures hands down.It even has his cannon w/firing missle on his arm just like the G1 version always did.I highly recommend this figure to any transformer fan out there.If you come by one,get it because it seems like it is one of the harder ones to find.I have only found it 2 times so far.Bottom line Megatron is one of the best Deluxe class figures out there.Transformers Rule!

Cybertronian Megatron is ofcourse modeled after the recent Transformers: War For Cybertron game for Xbox360,PS3, and PC. I personaly love this design. the articulation is fantastic for a toy of this size, and the sculp is amazing. I ofcourse made a few modifications in the paint scheme, mostly giving him more of a grey battle ware look. but this toy will NOT disappoint you, the Megatron fan. his fusion cannon is sculped diffrently then in the game. possibly to make it fit better with the Hover Tank mode. but thats okay, personaly I like the design. also the fusion cannon can be switched on either arm you desire.

the Hover tank mode itself is quite impressive, although its not the most bizare design but Idk, I just don't think it would fit Megatron. but its still a cool design. I even figured out how to give megatron a third mode, by turning the hovertank into an artilary cannon. just leave the arms folded straight down and don't open the panels to make the treads/hover turbines. you can also use the extra articulation to spread the arms out if you want it to look like Megatron is dug into a trench firing morter rounds onto the autobots foolish enough to get into the field of fire.

I realy like this toy, the fun value is great, it would defenantly keep your little one busy for hours. even you can give your little Decepticon a mission with megatron. so don't be afraid to join in the fun.

Educational wise, I found megatron to be difficult at first to transform. but this just includes the puzzle/problem solving value of the toy. your child will learn the values of figuring things out, and once he gets a hold of it. he will be the master of Transformers. wich I feel is good for a child. it gives him self esteam and also he gets to learn that if he can transform megatron, he can figure other puzzles out too.

another thing I can say about megatron, is that just like his Cartoon counterpart, he is a tough sonuvadecepticon. I've had an issue where I had megatron on my shelf one day. and while moving some stuff I knocked him over and he hit the floor hard. I feared the great Decepticon leader had finaly lost his battle with gravaty. I picked him up, and prase Primus Megatron was undamaged! only thing that popped off was his fusion cannon, but that was an easy fix. Megatron should withstand your child's rough play. wich is perfect for thoughs legendary battles with optimus prime in the kechen or the great war in the living room.

Overall, I think this toy is great. I am a transformers fan sence the 1980s, and always will be. Megatron is a great addition to the collector's army of Decepticons, and just as much a great addition to your child's army of bad guys. this Megatron is also reletively inexpensive unlike the larger toys. so if nothing else convenses you, look at the price. either way, unlike some of his 'other warriors' Megatron will NEVER fail you.

This good quality toy has better arms with its bar hinges rather than ball hinges. My son loves the Decepticon symbol on his back because it is built in and not printed. This sturdy toy stands up, and the cannon blaster will kill bugs. My son gives this toy an A+.
