Back in Transformers: Armada, a set of Mini-Con warriors was released. These were the "Air Defense Team" - a group of three miniature Transformers who, in addition to converting from aerial vehicles to robots and back, could combine to form the Star Sabre Sword. This powerful weapon played an integral part in the Transformers: Armada cartoon series. Now, with Armada's sequel Transformers: Energon comes a repainted and remolded version of the Star Sabre set. This time, the Mini-Cons combine to form the translucent yellow Energon Saber Sword, which can be used by the larger Transformers. In addition, the Mini-Cons themselves are great toys with excellent play value, converting from jet planes/space shuttles to robots and back. This fun set is a definite great value!

I've been looking at the reviews, and 2 of them say this isn't the best toy... i think it is really good, I got the requim blaster and the skyboom plane and they both are not as durable as the energon saber, I mean, it's not really supposed to, like, REALLY look like a sword, it's creativity, that's why i gave it 5 stars it educational value, THIS IS A GREAT SET!!

These guys are pretty cool. Not only do they all transform individually, but they form a sword. The sword is cool but it falls apart a little too easily. But duct tape is an easy fix for that. The clear yellow is a cool look. In general, I bought them and was pretty happy with them.

I got this about a coupel of months ago and its fun but they wont stay together.

It is still like that. It dosen't stay on forever in saber mode. It is very delicate and falls off easily. Thats why I gave it only four stars for fun.
