Gamespot Rating: 4.0 out of 10 (Bad)

- None of the other versions are exactly good, but at least they aren't as tediously boring as the PSP game.

CNET Rating: 4.0 out of 10 (Mediocre)

- Giant robots blowing stuff up should and almost always is awesome. In Transformers (for PSP), it's anything but.

1Up Rating: C-

- Visually the game is hurting. The drab, empty locales are just the tip of the iceberg: The animation of these giant robots is just ugly. And the transformation animations in particular are hilarious...they literally have no transformation animations whatsoever.

IGN Rating: 5.5 (Mediocre)

- terrible graphics, horrible control, dull combat.

The gameplay is boring! and get's slow if many enemies on the screen at the same time. Also, when fighting a BOSS, the scenes suddenly cuts to the movie for the next level without having totally defeated him yet. In some cases, the life bar had almost a 15% left. TERRIBLE GRAPHICS!!!,almost insulting for a 2007 release.
Overall sounds are simple, mediocre.
Unlockable features suck!!!

I liked Transformers the movie, but I was kind of hoping for a different storyline... controls take a little to get used to, not a fan of the aiming in most vehicle modes, robot form seems to work better for fighting. Not the most enthralling of video games, I played it for 2 days then put it away - I was hoping for God Of War with robots, but it can't compare.

When i first got this game i was 8.While it is still a little fun after four years,i have barley noticed some of the problems.

Good:While it isn't they best game it isn't as bad as the other reviewers claim.First of all the graphics arnt that bad,considering that it is a handheld.Also the game play is simple once you adjust to it.A nice feature is the weapon custimizatoin that the consel version lacks,as well as the multi-player.This game is designed for kids probably 10 and under even if its rated t for teen.It will be a fun game for a child since it features Optimus Prime,Bumblebee, Starscream, and many other favorite autobots and decepticons.

bad:The game is entertaining for kids,but others will find that that the missions and game play can get repetitive.Also the storie and missions get a little boring after the first few levels.

Over all this game is good for kids but not so good for gamers who have played other non movie ralated actoin games.Unless you are an extream transformers fan

IF you're looking for a boring game this is it. my family played it and it was way easy and so utterly boring. Go for something better.

Purchased for grandson for Christmas. He loves this game and has thanked me several times for buying it for him. He plays it a lot. Good seller, good price, shipped quickly. THank you.

got this for a 14 year old boy that really likes the movies and he loves the game and plays it a lot

After watching the all popular movie, i decided to buy the game thinking that "hey the movie was good, maybe the game will be good as well." But to my surprise, hell m*tha f*cking no!!! the game is a complete disaster. its very slow and i can't go on, this game makes me want to burn my PSP. A good RPG is Valkerie Profile:Lenneth (pardon my spelling).
