We purchased this toy for my 6 year old son. He had already had one but it was lost in the last move and after 6 months when he was still asking for it we decided it was time to get a new one. He even pitched in his allowance to cover the cost, that is how much he loves it. He's never seen the show but it is his favorite toy and it stirs his imagination immensely while playing make believe. It's looks great, is durable, and of course is transformable. What isn't there for a little boy to like?

I got Primal second-hand with that green shoulder thing missing. Why I say 'not for toddlers' is because one day I left him out and a toddler from across the street broke his gorilla arm off. He can still be used, even with a detached arm, but the effect isn't as good. I'm still happy with transformer number eleven. As I said before, NOT FOR TODDLERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
