I got this book for my 5 year old son after getting the partner book, Meet the Autobots. He loved that book so much that getting this one was a no-brainer. The story doesn't follow the movie as much as the Autobots book does, but we were able to learn the names of the various Decepticon characters. The pictures were good and not too scary. I'll try whatever it takes to keep my son interested in reading books, and this does it.

Very impressed with this book and the kids love it. Has a lot of detail which really kept the kids attention. It is marked as a level 2 reader for kids but it is more on a level 3 reader.

My 4 year old loves Transformers and has the Autobot version of this book. He really likes this one too. It's easy for him to understand, and I like how it gives a little blurb about many of the decepticons. I wish it included some of the other decepticons like the Fallen and Devastator, but I guess they had to pick and choose which ones to talk about.

We got this along with Transformers: Meet the Autobots (I Can Read Book 2)and Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen: Rise of the Decepticons (I Can Read Book 2) and my 5 year old son loves them (I have to admit that I like them too!). The graphics are really nice and these are read over and over in our house.

As I stated in my other review, I think it's great if you can get kids reading and it's even better for them if it's about something they enjoy. My 7 year old needed a little help w/ some of this book but that is fine! We enjoyed it and would buy it again.

Great way to encourage reading for kids who love the Transformers. they have read it a few times already and want more books about them.

Something educational that my son loves! Why not right? We're teaching him to read and what better way than to let him read something that he's already interested in!!! It makes learning/teaching a walk in the park!

I was very pleased with the book. My son loves it! I purchased this along with "Meet the Autobots" for him to learn some of the names of the Transformers.

I give any book 5 stars if it will get a child to sit and read it! This book went over very well with my friend's 4 year old boy, so I recommend it.
