A little difficult for the younger crowd
If your son likes puzzles and/or transformers, then this is a fun toy. It is a bit difficult to transform for the younger crowd, and is even difficult for some adults. But, the challenge is good.

fun for a minute
My four year old son found the transformer entertaining up to the point he dismantled everything and pieces went missing. So don't expect any longevity with this toy. The pieces come apart very easily, which I guess is necessary for a truck to transform into a robot.

Most of the new transformers self destruct, not so much like the old die cast we had when we were kids. It has now been nearly a month and it is still in great condition and my son plays with it daily. He asked for this one by name for his birthday.
