i bought this toy on amazon and let me say cool! i love blackout! this is a transformer so it goes from helicopter mode to robot mode. It was a little difficult at first but the instructions pretty much tell you how to do it. Overall its durable, I got it pretty quickly and i am satisfied. if your buying this for your kid, make sure he/she doesnt play to roughly with with because the parts are durable but thin, so any sharp movements might snap the peices.

i mainly got it for doing stopmotion. i love looking at it as well as transforming it, definitly get this over the regular series.

Blackout is back in a highly decorated version that is the best of any transformer movie voyager versions.Like the first version Blackout comes with his trusted partner scorponok in a mini-figure version that fits in the underside cargo hold when he is in his Sikorsky Pave Low mode to be unleashed on unsuspecting autobots at will.Blackout has more realistic detail in the premium version all around.In robot form he has a more refined look in the arms and legs with perfect realism in the cockpit section instead of a one paint blend like in the first version.All the while having one of the most awesome detailed head pieces of any voyager version done.The Sikorsky Pave Low mode looks so realistic you would think you pulled it right out of the actual movie itself with the window having the yellow border,the tip on the same side having a gold paint deco,and the back rotorwing having the actual red stripe on it.The whole body of the helicopter has a smooth realistic paint job from cockpit to tail.Blackout has spinning rotor blades that you can control with the push of a button at the back of the helicopter.The blades can also dettach for Blackout to use as a weapon like in the movie with a spinning blade grinder.The poseability is excellent overall with Blackout being able to assume many poses for displaying or acting out whatever battle scenes comes to mind.The durability is awesome as well with Blackout being able to handle any situation that may arise.The transformation level is advanced meaning if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is challenging difficulty.If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger you will probably have to help them some in the process.Honestly if you practice the transforming and have some patience any age eventually will get the hang of it.Blackout is a gem of a transformer that all fans and collectors will treasure.Bottom line Blackout is a well-made,high quality,10 out of 10 transformer that all fans and collectors will enjoy.I highly recommend Premium Blackout to all transformer fans and collectors alike.Transformers Rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My son was absolutely thrilled to receive this long awaited gift. He is a diehard fan of Transformers, The Movie. Blackout was purchased & shipped from a third party, through Amazon. It arrived on time, packaged correctly, and everything intact.

Forgive me if I'm not so enthusiast as the previous comments...

For sure this toy should have been better declined in the leader class version. Regarding the size of a Pave Low, Blackout should at least have the same proportions than Starscream leader class. Look the contrast now between the two robots. Also very pity in the robot mode that piece in the back which can't be more "transformed". The legs are really thin.

The growing prize in shops where it's still possible to find it makes of it a real challenge and a hit only for the true fan!
