Transformers Movie Leader Optimus Prime is available separately, so I won't review it here. This version adds two small toys. They are not as trivial as they look, but the novelty will wear off pretty quickly. Compared to the main toy, they are so far removed that they don't add much to the picture.

Since prices fluctuate, I was able to get this for less than the Transformers Movie Leader Optimus Prime alone. If it's close in price, you might as well get this. If you are an adult collector, you don't need my advice. If you are getting it for a child, the real fun is in the Optimus Prime, so I would not suggest paying much of a premium for this set.

You can't beat Amazon for value pricing on hard-to-find Japanese toys. Quality manufacturing and great display quality make this a great purchase.

Not as much fun as the other Transformers' line that speak or have more sounds. I gave this to my 4yr old son, along with an Ultimate Bumblebee bundle. He preferred the BumbleBee as it does all the sounds, etc. This poor Optimus Prime has been sadly sidelined. But the quality of the product is robust and I especially liked the bundled smaller toys in the package. The product was heavily overpriced, but I guess that's the price I have to pay for shopping too late into the Christmas season! :-)

I gave it a good rating educationally based upon the fact that it teaches patience, perseverence, and some design. I gave it a good grade overall because my 9 year old likes it.

Our grandson literally jumped up and down when he opened this gift. In order to find out what Transformers were all about we went to see the movie. Now we can have a informed conversation with him while he plays with ALL the transformers gifts he received.

My Grandson, 8 loves this toy. I myself can't operate it! I wish there were Decepticons that came packaged like this. I think they are all a little overpriced, but I guess that is the way of the world!

Ante todo este comentario va dirigido a toda la comunidad de habla hispana, este transformers me parece excelente, pero como dice mi enunciado, mas que un juguete es un objeto de colección, en realidad vale la pena amigos admiradores de los transformers, adquirirlo, que al igual que yo habrán seguido de cerca esta serie hasta la reciente pelicula de cine. Al principio es algo complejo transformarlo pero luego es muy sencillo, es cosa de práctica.
En modo robot tiene cerca de 23 cm y en modo camión 28 cm de largo, los colores idénticos a los de optimus de la pelicula. El bonus me parece bien solo que esas figuritas de Movie Legend son muy básicas, pero claro esta se debe a su diminuto tamaño (cerca de 7 cm en modo robot y 6 en modo vehículo); al final lo que cuenta es la figura de Optimus que le doy 5 estrellas!!
