This is a good book for a starting reader. Also good for ready to non-readers that enjoy being read too.

My seven year old loves these books. They really make him want to do a lot of reading.

This was a gift for my 8-year-old son who loves to read and loves Transformers. He liked the book very much and only needed help with a few words the first time he read it. I think the story was well done- it follows the story of only PART of the second Transformer movie focusing, of course, on the relationship between the brothers Optimus Prime and Megatron. Our copy fell apart within a matter of days, but honestly, most books around here seem to do that. (we have three children younger than our 8-year-old as well). In the end, I'm still glad I purchased it.

I gave this toy to my grandson (age 5) for Christmas. He was thrilled to get it. It took my son over an hour to turn the truck into Optimus Prime. It has 300+ actions to do that. It was a well built toy and father and son learned a lot from it by working together.
