To start i will say for a smaller version of devastator,this bad boy is very sweet.I have been collecting transformers for a long time and the legends devastator is an A+ all around contrary to what some other reviews say.First off the legend size figures are smaller therefore common sense tells you that you might have to be a little more careful with them.The robots included to form devastator are overload,scavenger,scrapper,long haul,rampage,hightower,and mixmaster.All seven robots fit together very well to form devastator.The transformation level for devastator is intermediate meaning if you have plenty of eexperience with transformers it is pretty easy, if you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger you might have to help out some.As for the robots individually I would put them at the easy level for each one.The poseability for displaying devastator somewhere or acting out battle scenes is outstanding.Devastator is a high quality, well-made,10 out of 10 legends figure set that is a must have for any true transformer fan out there.Also check out the Toys R Us version that they made all green in tribute to the original G1 devastator.Transformers Rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is the devastator that everyone wanted from the bigger version. this devastator does it all, the robots transform from well the robots, to the vehicles and to the body part for devastator, the bigger version does not do that. this is way smaller than the bigger version, but this does alot more "bigger" stuff.

My 5 year old is obsessed with anything transformers. As an incentive to do his homework and practice his Karate everyday, we sometimes reward him with a trip to target to pick out a small transformer toy. Over the course of the year, he had collected most of them. The only elusive one was the devastator. He begged us to get it for him for Christmas. My husband, however, promised him if he passed his yellow belt test, he would reward him with the devastator. We searched online and found it for the best price at Amazon.com, even though it is still vey expensive for a plastic toy, $50+. It is sufficiently intricate to keep his attention. Each limb is composed of a separate vehicle that also transforms. At first he needed help assembling and disassembling the pieces. Now he does it by himself, sometimes with the help of the instructions. It is the ultimate crown jewel in his transformer collection....That is until the next transformers 3 movie comes out.

I'm a huge Transformer fan and I know a good toy when I see one. Sure the 7 individual toy robots are kinda small, but thing that makes this better than the bigger and more detailed Devastator is that each little toy has a vehicle mode AND robot mode plus the combined mode. It is that awesome! It also has a bit of kibble (like when Mixmaster is in robot mode, Devastator's head sticks out his back), but overall it is a good toy. Not recommended for children under 10.

After you get over the initial shock of how small it is, it's great because all the trucks transform unlike the larger devastator. My 6 and 4-year old boys love it! They did already break off a small piece from one of the trucks, but if I had to choose again, I'd still pick this one.

I wouldn't give this to anyone under 14. It's a great toy, it made itself right at home on my shelf, but I have to say, the ball joints and Scavenger's wheels, they're just all a wee bit fragile, I'm so scared I might break it, and as a matter of fact, Scavenger's wheels are bent a bit from the packaging, but I've fixed it. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars only because of how delicate it seems. I love it a lot, Scrapper and Mixmaster are easily my favourites, and I might even get another one to keep mint in box. I'm not saying don't get this for your son or grandson, I'm saying that hardcore collectors ought to watch their hands. Anyway, I reccomend this for anyone who hated the fact Supreme Devastator didn't have individual robot modes, and didn't have 100$ to spend. It's worth the 50$.

My son has been obsessed with Transformers. He has gotten so many different ones from so many of the different lines. And up till he saw this one there wasn't a Transformer he didn't like. It is junk. The individual pieces look like those plastic toys you get in a vending machine. The Hasbro ones are pretty acceptable quality most of the time but I really advise as many parents who will listen to get the Takara ones instead. The Takara Transformers are SO much better made. They transform without breaking, they feel solid and my son, with the zillions of Transformers he has accumulated, treasures the Takara ones above all else. If i had it to do over again I wouldn't have wasted the money on the junk. Quality, not quantity.

This might be the worst waste of money I have ever indulged in. At the price paid, I was expecting a toy that would at least last through his birthday. Did not make it 24 hours before small yet important pieces started cracking off of it. My son has a number of Transformer toys, and this is the most expensive and least durable one that he has. In fact, none of his other Transformers have broken at all and this one literally didn't make it to bedtime on the first day. I don't think I would put the quality on par with a McDonald's toy. Anyone who spends money on this one should plan on leaving it in the box and on the shelf.

I purchased this product after an extensive search to find one -- it seemed the right choice given the cost of the larger version. Dimensions were given, although despite that the end product seemed a lot smaller than I expected, but the recipient of the gift was pleased nonetheless. However, the toy wasn't as durable as we'd hoped. In less than 24 hours, one component of this 7-in-1 toy had snapped, and not even at the joint. The child who received it wasn't playing with it in any extraordinary way, simply as any 7-year-old would play with one of his toys. It should have been a lot more durable than it was. However, being a 7-year-old little boy who loves transformers, the flaw did not detract from the recipient's enjoyment overall.

My six year old son is a big Transformers fan and asked for the Devastator Transformer from the "Revenge of the Fallen" movie for his birthday. I purchased this toy online and when it was delivered was dismayed to see the gimmicky size of the Transformers. The toy is too little for the price and easily breakable. Hasbro really need to get their act together on the quality of the their toys as in my childhood the transformers i had were near indestructible.
