This thing is much bigger than I expected. I got it as a christmas gift for my son and was very pleased to receive it in less than two weeks. He has not had the opportunity to play with it but there is a opening in the box that allows you to sample the material and sound effects. It is made of very sturdy material and has several sound effects--not just one or two but several. I love that all the parts are full sized transformers that he can play with individually or as one HUGE unit. The best thing about making a purchase online is customer satisfaction and I am VERY satisfied. This was a great surprise for my son...who is a Transformer fanatic at age 5. It is difficult to put together but still fun. Very durable!!

I ordered this toy for my 6 year old son after making him work really hard for it. With a price of $114.99, I expected this toy to come with all the bells and whistles, and my son and I were somewhat pleased with it at first impression.

This game is huge, which adds a "wow" factor for the young ones when they first receive the box. I was dreading having to put together a Transformer this big, but as it turns out, you only connect the smaller, one-piece, transformers to the main body, and voila - you have your Devastator!

The main problem with this transformer is that you can't stand it up easily - the two legs are made of different smaller transformers, and it is a pain to get Devastator to stand on a desk unassisted. My son was really disappointed because of this, and he quickly lost interest in Devastator (but at least he had the smaller transformers to play with).

The railing on the main body unit keeps falling off too.

The sounds made by this toy are really amazing, but the trick is getting it to NOT make any sound at all. If you so much as touch the face of Devastator, or move him slightly, he plays one of the different sounds. If you allow your child to bring his toy with him wherever he goes it might give you a headache (yes, I tried to turn the sound off but there's no button or switch to turn it on or off - there's just a loud speaker).

This is an OK game, I guess, but don't make the mistake of hyping it up for your child just because of its size or price - both of you might be somewhat disappointed.
