I have a 3 year old and we have tried some of the bigger Transformers (quick conversion Bumblebee, etc) and he LOVES these little Transformers Legends action figures. They are easy to figure out and put together so well that they run down race tracks very cleanly and fast. The cheapest Transformers that you can buy, we have bought him Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Optimus Prime, and Megatron. I wouldn't buy any other Transformers toys!

We have a Bumblebee from the first movie but this one is easier to transform and my son likes the addition of the guns that come out of the hood. Neat details like seats when you open the doors in "car" design. Sometimes the arms fall off but the 5 year old can put them back on by himself as well as do the transforming. Good toy.
