The only thing I need to add for this review was in the "Cosmic Rust" episode, Menasor says "damn it" when the aerialbots attack him. I completely forgot about him saying that! Transformers.......nothing like it as far as 80's cartoons go.

This set contains the rest of Season 2 of Transformers Generation 1. The episodes that were in Season 2 Vol. 1 were great, and this set containing the rest of the Season 2 episodes won't disappoint if you loved the Vol. 1 set. All of Season 2 we see some new characters come into the series along with some memorable events that go on throughout the entire second season of Transformers. While I may not be a Transformers geek like my bro is, but I can still appreciate what Generation 1 had offered through the first 2 seasons of the show. I give the second half of Season 2 a 4.5 out of 5.

It is great to see all the old stuff back what I used to watch with the banners 'the transformers will be back after these messages', great to see and hear the voice that goes with it.
Much errors are fixed but some still remain and you will spot them better than back in the days but it is a great set with extra's and nice art work.
If you like transformers G1 and want the old series without the Rhino mistakes and know that not all episodes are digitally restored and therefore don't have picture quality as Rhino but still used the original 35mm tapes (as much as they could) this is worth ordering knowing this set comes as close to the series they broadcasted.

I recieved this dvd sooner than expected and felt it was a very good price compared to what I have seen if I would have purchaced it in a store.

It is a real enjoyment to have beloved classics as this one produced by Hasbro back into homes, where it can be shared with older fans and new ones to come. The Artwork of the Dvd box set is produced well and holds true homage to the original artwork with some new flare. The remastering of the episodes are well done, expect for certian anime work done by different company's during that time, yet this is forgivable despite some pointless filler of this Season Two Vol. 2 series. Though some episodes (about two or three) are still out of sync the flow of the series is far more pleasant than the release of other versions prior to this one. "Shout" did do a far better job on the Season One and Two versions of the G1 Transformers Cartoon.

Transformers brings back childhood memories and my kids, ages 3, 5, 8 love these classic cartoons too! Value priced a whole lot of episodes! Didn't remember the theme song change by its quite catchy.

I bought this for my hubby and he love him sum transformers. It brings back memories. Glad I found it on amazon cuz I couldnt find it anywhere else.

In this one we get to see more upgraded villians and animation. The stakes are taken to the next level as Megatron utilizes more ruthless means to get to the Autobots. The best part of this set was the great interviews with the creators of the show. Who would think that we would be talking about this series more than twenty five years later! For all intents and purposes, this is a great addition to your collection.

If you grew up with the Autobots and Decepticons you will love this Shout production re-release! I'm surprised how many of these episodes I remember!!
It's a total trip down memory lane and kind of inspiring again.

The seller was great as well, I got my order two days after ordering. I would recommend them!
