At least mine has to be. While this is a great LOOKING version of Galvatron, in fact one of the best, it does not stay together well. Both arms come off easily during transformation, especially the one with the cannon. Definately not for kids because of this. Good for the collector though, who want a Galvatron/Megatron that resembles the original characters. The fun factor for me has been finding a nemesis for my small Armada version of Optimus Prime.

This is the best homage (not counting G1 reissue) to the original Galvatron looks wise that I have seen. Most others have been simply recolored versions of whatever Megatron was available. I do not feel transformation was that difficult and only consulted the instructions once or twice on a few back pieces. The right (cannon) arm comes off somewhat easily although truth be told I think it was meant to, it has yet to fall off during play. However unlike other reviewers I have yet to have the left arm fall off. There is better than decent posability (incredible though if compared to G1) it is good enough for most kids I believe. I recommend it for kids and collectors.

Like any one who remembers the original '86 animated movie, I was really exited to finally see a galvatron figure who resembled the original, and this one delivers big time in robot mode. For some reason though toy makers refuse to make one that transforms into a cannon like the original, but as a tank this one is as close as you will get, without paying $150-$200 for a G1 or G1 re-issue. The detail is great and very closley resemble the original in robot form, however after that things go downhill very quickly. For some reason this toy is labeled as average difficulty transformation, equal to the jets in the same(very well done) classics line, however while they are extremely easy to transform this guy is nearly impossible. His arms are guaranteed to fall of during transformation, and while they pop back on, another peice on the bottom fell off that I could not put back on. Now mind you I only transformed it once, and I am not even sure I could transform it again, as usual, the complicated directions only give you a one way detail. Add this to the fact even in robot mode, all but the most carful movments will cause his arms to pop off, and this guy is one of the most poorly designed figures I have ever seen. So unless you are a huge fan of the '86 movie, and have been fixing for a reasonably-priced somewhat accurate galvatron, you should probably avoid this one.
