I've been a fan of Soundwave and never got to pick this piece up when the Cybertron series was going on. Glad to see this re-colored re-issue. Certainly doesn't bear any resemblence to the autobot Blaster, including the 'minicon' inside as Blaster never had a bird. Except for the color scheme and the autobot symbol, this bears more resemblence to Soundwave than anything else.

That said, I think it's a real cool toy. The chest compartment that opens up to reveal the 'bombs' is really cool, and you can even store on the weapons in there, instead of the mini-con Blockroc. The jet mode is very much like a F-117A Nighthawk.

The transformation is a little on the difficult side, compared to most other toys I have, but it's not that bad.

I'm thinking of removing the autobot symbols so that I can imagine it's actually Soundwave with Lazerbeak! :-)

I purchased a multitude of transfomers in this price range when Amazon heavily discounted them just prior to Xmas. This one was my least favorite. It is difficult to transform in comparison to the others and I don't think the small hinges will survive my sons attempts when I am away. He likes it but not as well as some of the others. I thought Dropshot from this series was much better done.

His legs are a little on the thin/fragile side and he is top heavy which makes it hard for him to stand but who the heck cares since he's cool!

This is just what my grandchild wanted for Christmas, and my son played with Transformers when he was his age. Multi-generational!!!!

Feel free to skip this guy! He really is junk. Who ever heard of a guy inspired by a boom box turning into a stealth bomber? The color scheme is awful as well. If it is stealth than why are you using bright red Hasbro? Just horrible. The soundwave was ok and if you MUST get one of this mold pick up a soundwave out of the box and you can spend the rest on a burrito. Then you can have explosive diarrhea and at least have a good story to tell your friends about while you light this junk on fire in your backyard for the fourth of July. TAKE THAT CHINESE GARBAGE!!!
