That being said, this is pretty much a perfect toy for kids to play with (wish this was around when I was a kid). It is big, durable, and the dual shoulder mounted mini-gun gimmick is actually pretty cool (there's a lever in the middle of his abdomen that you pull down to retract the guns, and then a trigger releases them, and they spin when they pop out).
This guy is pretty damn big, about another half of a Voyager or Powerizers figure, so he's pretty substantial. From the front, he looks pretty awesome (the pics posted by the other member capture how awesome he looks really accurately), but from the back and sides, you will notice that he does have a pretty hefty back (in order to store the guns). Sorry, not much you can do about that, if it bothers you.
Articulation is pretty good, with arms and leg movement being pretty standard. No waist movement what so ever, and the head doesn't really rotate too much. Another thing that may bother people is in truck mode, his arms are exposed, so that you can totally see them from above. Also, I'm not sure how many of you care, but I'm really not a huge fan of the really light gray plastic the recent Transformers toys have been using. I prefer the darker gray that was used in the past, but that's just a personal preference. All of these issues would be the reasons why I say it may not be ideal for collectors.
For kids, though, he's a good looking Prime.Read more ›
arms won't stay closed
incredibly hard to transform
gets all disoriented when you try to play with it!
It totally sucks all over and his gun snapped too
Do NOT waste your money on this unless you are extremely careful and good with transformers like this.
He absolutely loves it.
I think the transformation of it is a bit complicated for him, and I would recommend it for those a little older (he turned 6).
My other concern is that some of the transformation joints are not very robust and if a child were to play a little rough with it (the way many are with action figures), I don't know that it will stand-up to much abuse.
Overall, I like it, he loves it, and I would buy it again, but we'll just have to see how long it lasts (he's had it 1 week).

my 5 year old loves this transformer. It looks a lot better than other transformers for about the same amount of money and is fairly simple to transform. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Aubrey

I bought this for my 4 year old boy. He is too young for it. I can't even transform it without hard work/thinking. I think this will be better for older kids.Published 6 months ago by Dan LaBarbera
