Women in ministry face needs that are often overlooked by the local church and consequently remain underdeveloped as they seek to lead and guide those in their care.
The need to shape emotions to guard and fulfill God’s purpose and the need to bond in order to build a community of authentic, lasting friendships are distinctively feminine and foundational to a successful ministry.
As the founder of Inspire Women, Anita Carman is uniquely qualified to offer practical, biblical training and resources to support leaders, and those thinking about leading, on the front lines in our churches.
Transforming Leaders covers the three primary emotions, loneliness, rejection, and fear; a leader must overcome to maximize her impact while providing a personalized curriculum to knit the hearts of those she serves.
At the age of 17, Anita Carman arrived in the free land of America after the tragic suicide of her mother. By God's grace, He carried Anita on an incredible journey from bondage and fear to physical, emotional, and spiritual freedom. Today, Anita is the founder and president of Inspire Women, an organization that inspires women across ethnicities, denominations, and economic levels to connect their lives to God's purpose, and funds biblical resources and scholarships to train women for missions and ministry.

I am a student in the Inspire Women Leadership program. This book along with the classes and small group sessions promote God's word and our Royal Family of God. How each of us are to take God's word and apply it to our daily lives. We are not alone in our journey to heaven! All of our faith brothers and sisters have climbed mountains, been scorched in the valley of death and have soared like eagles. As we see how God worked in each of their lives and how they responded to God we learn how we are to respond to be children of God that Lift Him Up in our day to day lives! I thank God how He has raised up Inspire Women to equip women to work in His Harvest Fields.

Transforming for a Purpose tells it like it is! Anita Carman does not mince words. This book has practical, straight talk to guide women through challenges of ministry. Anita, founder of Inspire Women, a ministry that reaches across ethnicities to provide funds for training women in ministry, knows what she's talking about and freely shares her experiences. I was moved by her story and personally encouraged to face challenges in my own life. I highly recommend this book for anyone involved in or considering ministry.
