About the Author

Joe Dominguez was born on February 2, 1938. Considered a pioneer in the sustainability movement, he, together with partner Vicki Robin, co-authored the best-seller Your Money or Your Life: Transforming Your Relationship with Money and Achieving Financial Independence. Dominguez was 31 years of age when he retired from a job as a technical stock analyst on Wall Street with a nest egg of about $70,000. He continued to live off of the investment income, about $6,000 a year, with a strong desire to tell others how to do the same. The proceeds of his book sales and other efforts to increase financial literacy have been donated to the New Road Map Foundation, an all-volunteer, non-profit foundation founded to promote the reduction of North American consumption. Dominguez died of cancer in Seattle on January 11, 1997.

If the Secret hasn't worked for you yet, try Joe's method. It is the nuts and bolts of financial freedom, no magic tricks just roll your sleeves up and follow the steps and life has to get better by the day. There is info in this programe that was news to me and it has changed how I think about money. A Currency of Hope is another real book about turning around finances.

This series of audio recordings of Joe Dominguez is a must for anyone who is struggling with money and debt.

Joe presents a contrarian view of this relationship - the limitations we impose on ourselves are simply not due to a scaracity of money. For the vast majority of us, any limitation is due to our lack of skills needed to effectively manage the relationship with the money that already flows through to us.

If you're struggling financially and are looking for a "magic wand" to cure your money troubles - you won't find it here. If, however, you are looking for solid, inspirational, out-of-the-box thinking on the subject, you will find Joe's recordings to be transformational.
