5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant album! Buy immediately!!!
I first heard the track "You" by Neuroactive on an Industrial/EBM/Synthpop Internet radio station ..., and it grew on me after a few times, so I took a chance on this CD. I quickly realized that "You" actually turned out to be just one of many excellent songs on the CD. I am so impressed with Neuroactive, that I have ordered 2 more CD's by them, and Transients hasn't left...

2.0 out of 5 stars disappointed
I had heard a few tracks from Neuroactive, and decided to buy the CD. I found 2 tracks that were worth buying, but the rest of the CD was a disappointment.

I first heard the track "You" by Neuroactive on an Industrial/EBM/Synthpop Internet radio station ..., and it grew on me after a few times, so I took a chance on this CD. I quickly realized that "You" actually turned out to be just one of many excellent songs on the CD. I am so impressed with Neuroactive, that I have ordered 2 more CD's by them, and Transients hasn't left my CD player in over 2 months! I would describe Neuroactive as a upper echelon synthpop/futurepop band with catchy and very danceable retro synth riffs, heart felt, melancholy and sometimes sorrowful lyrics delivered by a unique sounding down tempo vocalist with deep, smooth singing style. I recommend this CD to anyone that likes bands like (old) Depeche Mode, Covenant, Wolfsheim, De/Vision. It is VERY rare to find an album that maintains such high quality writing and programming through out the entire CD these days! Killer stuff!!!;)

4.0 out of 5 stars Not Bad..., April 4, 2003
This review is from: Transients (Audio CD)
I recently purchased this cd, my first by the band, and I have to say, while the beats are great and the lead singer's voice is beautiful and haunting, this album needs stronger lyrics and more vocal variations. I will be purchasing more albums in the near future though :)
