I think this album has a lot of merit to it. I originally purchased it when I heard "Flow" on the Jawbreaker movie soundtrack. That, along with "Look Who's Perfect Now" and "Dizzy Moon" are the best songs on the album. These are the songs that have something unique and really enjoyable to them. The other songs have glimpses of this as well, but to a lesser extent. Overall, I think it's a great first album. Will we ever hear any more from them?

I've had this album since 1997. I randomly caught their video for "Look Who's Perfect Now" (also heard in the movie [Never Been Kissed], appropriately enough during the kiss) and went out and bought it immediately. I still feel that it's such a great, underrated album...I guess more people didn't catch on because the marketing for them wasn't so great (I did only see the video twice and never heard from them again). Even still, this album is interesting, catchy and unique. So many different sounds that somehow manage to not feel disjointed from song to song...folky-jazzy on "Stars Collide" with Keely's wispy vocals floating over a husky horror-movie sounding voice, trancey on "Head" with snippets of a telephone call from a payphone, a scream borrowed from (I believe) the original Night of the Living Dead on the haunting mid-tempo Garbage-esque "Falling Off the World" and the intriguing contrast of a happy lilting melody with a song title like "I Saw Red". Other standout songs include the energetic "Look Who's Perfect Now", the soaring "Day #1", the dreamy "Flow" (also heard in the movie Jawbreaker), and the irresistably catchy "Weather Boy". I've been listening to this cd for almost a decade, and I highly recommend this album.

This group is definately under rated. I got this CD because I thought the song Flow was awesome, and I am glad I did. There are really great songs on here. I wish they would come out with something else.
