5.0 out of 5 stars Three Days Grace evolved October 6, 2012
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Risking to be late at work, I have decided to write this review as some of the 2- & 3-stars reviews are not doing the justice to this very solid album from one of my favorite band out there. To be fair, the originality of the band's first two amazing albums (Three Days Grace & One X) is somewhat lost here. Their 3rd album "Life Starts Now" is a little bit weak, in my opinion, but still a very good work. This one that just out is a great example how the band evolved, matured, still remaining to be the band I hooked up on when they released their 1st self-titled album. In one word, "Transit of Venus" is very melodic. Every song of it, period. There are standouts here like the single "Chilk Outline", "The High Road", "Anonymous", "Expectations", "Broken Glass", and the best song (again, in my opinion) "Unbreakable Heart". It is not heavy at all, even a bit "softy", but I still can tell, this is the Three Days Grace. This is one of those albums that you can listen to without pressing the rewind. All the way through... then hit play again.
I am usually very picky about sound quality. No complains here. Although it is not a Japanese release (I'd wait until it is released in Japan with bonus tracks as their previous albums), it does sound extremely well.
Buy it. You won't be disappointed!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bias Opinion, But Who Cares! November 3, 2012
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I'm not sure if my opinion will be helpful to a larger scale of people, but to those who enjoy Three Days Grace, I'd definitely recommend supporting them and buying their new album! I love it! I have always loved Three Days Grace so I pre-ordered the album before it was even released and know all the words to all the songs now! TDG FOR LIFE!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not the Best of Three Days Grace September 10, 2013
By Miki H
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
After hearing this album, I wasn't surprised to hear of the lead singer's departure. One-X is one of my favorite albums of all time, and I have enjoyed all their others. This one is quite a disappointment.

4.0 out of 5 stars Musical Transit November 16, 2012
Format:Audio CD
"Transit To Venus" by Three Days Grace continues the alternative rock saga that marks Three Days Grace. "Chalk Outline", "High Road", "Give In To Me", "Happiness", "Expectations", and "Unbreakable Heart" are some of the multiple songs on this cd that create a good blend of vulnerable and genuine emotion. "Transit To Venus" is great for those who at least like alternative rock and/or the songs "Animal I Have Become" "Never Too Late", and/or "Pain."

I love this cd so much, especially "Chalk Outline".
I would recommend this. I enjoyed it very much. Saw them live at Pain in the grass and they played this song. It was awesome. That's why I wanted this cd.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it!! January 8, 2014
By Colleen
Format:MP3 Music|Verified Purchase
I am absolutely loving this CD I play it over and over. The music is great and the lyrics very expressive. A little bummed to see Adam leave the band and interesting to see who takes his place. I saw them on tour last yr when his brother from MDD filled in.......
