Very helpful
I am new in the translation industry and unfortunately, when you graduate from college, you don't know where to start a successful translation career. Now you do, thanks to this book. It is full of invaluable information not only to those already in the field but also to those who wish to work as a translator.

Good enough for starters
I bought this book to find out more about translation and how to get started in it. The book serves its purpose, well enough for a starter like me. The author covers what is essential to succeed as a translator, for instance, you need to be translating so many words per minute to be earning a decent income. I bought this book to find out more about translation and how to get started in it. The book serves its purpose, well enough for a starter like me. About 60% of the book is dedicated to lists of dictionaries in different languages, U.S. translation companies, government agencies, and translation courses. Some listings are outdated.
