4.0 out of 5 stars Good Stuff, November 22, 2007
This review is from: Transmetropolitian (Audio CD)
This album really amazed me. The talent pours out of this cd and really took me back at first. I would recommend it to anyone who is tired of the same old stuff in metal these days.

5.0 out of 5 stars First and last flawless LP for this band....most likely, March 9, 2011

I love this band. I'm pretty sure this CD stayed in my car for most of 2008. Sadly, Nico left the band and now they sound like every other metal band. I've bought all of their CD since and they don't measure up; not even a little bit. Viva la Transmetropolitan!

5.0 out of 5 stars metalcore opinion, June 17, 2010
This review is from: Transmetropolitan (MP3 Download)
If your into metalcore you'll probably like this CD.

This CD leans on the more metal side of the spectrum, its a technical cd as well with alot of interesting time changes and mixups.

So, lets break this down.

There are no real clean vocals, its what you hear on the samples. Hes generally a high ranged vocalist.

There are breakdowns and they're done really well and interestingly! Very memorable.

Its a tad overproduced. Super clean recording.

Like i mentioned before, its a pretty technical album and the guitarists are really good. Dont worry about chorus lines here because for the most part the songs are ever evolving things.

a few are kindof boring...they just drag. Probably due to the length and the fact that the structure can be a little bonkers at times with all the changes. If its your thing, if your into this then you'll love it! For people who arn't...here's your warning.

Overall a great find!

enjoy!
