About the Author

Jean-Louis Mingalon is a French journalist, movie director, and actor.

Professor Baumrin has worked in Higher Education and professional theatre in New York for over twenty years. His unique area of research focuses on the cross pollenization of espionage and the performing arts in Eastern Europe.

Corinne Soum is the co-director of the Theatre de l'Ange Fou and the International School of Corporeal Mime. She studied mime with Etienne Decroux, and has had a long collaboration with Steven Wasson in directing, creating and playing many leading roles for their company.

Yves Marc, a student of Etienne Decroux, is, with Claire Heggen, a director of the Thetre du Mouvement in Paris.

Walter Pfaff is a Swiss-German director and teacher who makes his home in Zurich.

Thomas Leabhart studied at Etienne Decroux's school from 1968-1972. He is the editor of Mime Journal and has authored over 35 articles, in addition to two books: Modern and Post-Modern Mime (1989) and Etienne Decroux (2007). He is a resident artist and professor of theatre at Pomona College in Claremont, California, and performs and teaches workshops regularly in Paris, Lyon, Aurillac, and other cities around the world.
