This book is awesome. I bought it to supplement the books I got for my final research paper. The book is quite interesting and shows how the early world was shaped by trade. Now I am no to another class and I find myself looking back to this book to help write two essays for my newest history class. The book is pretty straightforward and easy to navigate if you are looking for something in particular. The book sadly only goes to the Middle Ages..... I wish it went further.
