The True Rukus Bringa,

This is one of the most refreshing rap albums I've heard in years. Similar flow to that of Eminem, beats that are way out of left field, spanish guitar a la Wyclef, Foo Fighter-ish stop and go melodies, lyrical presence that would impress even Kool Keith, but they won't make your mother blush... They are uplifing and fun, yet real and thought provoking. Transparemcee is nothing short of brilliant! Also, an unforgettable cameo by the legendary Pigeon John of LA Symphony and Brainwash Projects. Illmatic!

Other reviews of this album at hip-hopzone.com and musicforce.com can be very misleading. This album is very, very tight and worthy of more recognition and compliment than it has received. MG! rocks the mic all the way through. Not to mention the element all the special performances added to the whole experience.2 THUMBS UP! Reccomended trax. U-Trip

MG!The Visionary * TransparEmcee (Bec/Uprok, 2000)
A frantic/whirlwind trip through the mind of former 3NP member (remember the "Sanctifunktifyd" compilation?), MG. And I do mean "whirlwind", because just listening to some of these songs will make your head spin. Witness the debut of the Gospel BUSTA RHYMES. Though a bit more Jazzy in groove theory, still, he's just as unpredictable. Picks: Rock Your World (reminiscent of"Sweetest Thing" from the LOVE JONES soundtrack) LaZeric Fridell Freeman

Transparemcee,

This is a good album. MG has a unique fun, fairly quick style and is also very consciouse. Its one of those albums you could let anyone hear without regreting it. Probably even your kids! As MG says "When you buy it you can go do what you want, play it to your pops or your mom". The tune 'sponsible is one of my favorites. Even tho its actuallty two tunes in one. The first is to introduce the more complex and conscious one that comes after. The first ones more catchy but the second is more intelegent. Scared as and seeds are really good tunes too. If you fancy a little real hip hop and not that gangster rap rubish its worth buying!!

Yo, don't sleep on this album. It's a definite classic. Sweet beats. Vocals? Excellent. Harmonies? Oh yeah. Guest appearances? Plenty. Bootie Shakin' Viability? Of course!
