I'm so glad they released this on vinyl! "Transparence" has never sounded more etherial. I love the new intro and the entire mix sounds even dreamier than the album version. Coupled with the new electronica-infused "Urusai Tori", Side-A packs more frosty lushness than a pyschadelic strawberry-rum creamcicle. Now on to Side-B. The Transparence Remix is amazing! I'm anxious to hear more of what Aa has done. They remixed the song in a way that compliments the hook without ramming it into your face over and over and over again. "Miniature Cities" is the last track which, like "Blind Little Rain" from "Hush", is the perfect, hazy ending to a beautiful dream. As the record spins, the song slowly drifts into your consciousness with a swaying circular motion, sucking you in as it slowly fades to nothing... but then suddenly re-emerges with a colorful burst of harmonious blended vocal melody and reverberating guitar!!! Another perfect Asobi Seksu song. If you're a fan you definately need to try and get your hands on this. Because the downloaded tracks just don't sound the same. I can't wait to hear them live!
